Dear You - A Short Film
This short visual (2 mins 23 seconds) is about the power of thought.
I want you to be free. Free to wake up. Free to be happy. Free to live your life. I don't want you to live in peace, I want you to be peace.
I created this almost by accident for a competition hosted by music publishing behemoth Musicbed. I had an idea bubbling for a few weeks but was thinking about making it for TikTok. Read more...
First film experiments
I've made a few films over the years for friends and family as a hobbyist. Now I am taking film a little more seriously, but I've added these here for fun.
Scooter Boy
I miss them being small. All he wanted for Christmas was a scooter. Music is 'Stop the Cavalry' by Jona Lewie.

The Artist James Kelso
I made this for my friend Jim. I think he hated the end result, but was too polite to say. Had fun though.
Shot on iPhone, butchered on iMovie.
The Hereford Austin 7 Club, UK
I made some new friends with this favour to my parents. I did make one enemy though as you'll see with the parking edit. Music is 'Jeeves and Wooster' written by Anne Dudley.

Barry Du-Crow, Furniture Designer
Barry was pals with my father-in-law and I made this for him as a favour. He had access to ancient woodland in Hampshire, UK and made incredible furniture from the lumps of wood he found.

The Way You're Facing
My first video made in 2011 on probably an iphone 4. My lads football team. Watch them try to keep a straight face for their champions league experience.
Music is Addagio For Strings and an iMovie mp3 called 'The Fight.'

Beauty in the weather and the weathered.
There is beauty to be found in even the most unsightly of buildings. Gentrification of our towns and cities consists mostly of mirrored glass. I am convinced this is so architects and investors can see themselves as they walk past. Give me decaying concrete and a smattering of graffiti over the devil's reflection any day.
